Commissioned by BBC News and written by journalist Stephanie Hegarty, The Boat That Disappeared tells the story of a boat which disappeared in the Mediterranean after departing from the coast of Libya carrying 91 passengers.

Last calls
The story is based on transcripts of the passengers' last calls for help to the Alarm Phone hotline, and follows events as the operators attempt to notify the relevant agencies in order to arrange a rescue.
